Curriculum Library Mission

The Curriculum Library provides materials, equipment, facilities and services needed to support the University of West Alabama's Julia Tutwiler College of Education curriculum.
 
In keeping with the College of Education's pragmatic experiential model, the Curriculum Laboratory emphasizes support for student development of practical, hands-on materials and activities. 

Service to the students and faculty in the College of Education is the primary function of the Curriculum Library; however, it also provides materials and service to other areas of the University and the local community when possible. 

The laboratory additionally serves as a training facility for interns in the University's Library Media program, as it is designed to function as a model school library.
