The Julia Tutwiler Library
employs Work Study students each semester to assist the faculty and
staff. Duties may include shelving, operating the circulation
desk, providing assistance to patrons, and assisting various library
departments.
Work Study students should be
responsible, prompt, have a desire to work with the public, and show
strong attention to detail. Customer service experience,
proficiency in computer technology, typing, clerical work, and previous
work in a library setting are desirable.
Visit the Financial Aid office for more information regarding applying
for aid through the Work Study program.
If you have already been awarded Work Study aid, and are interested in
working in the Library, see the User Services Associate, in the Library for an application, or call 652-3842 for
more information.
